A little about me

Following the passion
that stayed with me.

I’m Ivan Morgan, a 22-year-old student pilot living in Belleville, Michigan. I’m enrolled in Eastern Michigan University’s Aviation Flight Technology program and currently working toward my private pilot license.

Aviation has been a passion of mine since I was younger. I completed my associate degree in cybersecurity in May 2026. As I finished, I found myself thinking more about aviation and less about a future in cybersecurity. Flying had been a passion since childhood, and I wanted my career to reflect that. Pursuing aviation meant committing to a new direction, with a goal I felt excited to work toward.

My long-term goal is to earn my Airline Transport Pilot certificate and fly for an airline. I’m pursuing that goal through EMU’s Aviation Flight Technology program, with flight training at Crosswinds Aviation. This site follows the progress, decisions, and lessons along the way.
